Aid arrives in flood-hit Bolivia
What is the issue ?
The issue is that an international aid had arrived in Bolivia, in which it had seen its worst flood in 25 years. The floods killed nearly 40 people and worst of it, is that tens of thousands of people had to be forced away from their homes. Many diseases had been spread in the flood which causes a major effect on the civilians that live there. One of the diseases that was thought found, was dengue fever. During this terribly horrific nightmare, landslides had stopped the evacuations of civilians from there flood zones. The flood had caused a major impact on the people’s homes and families, with having 350,000 people effected and having 1,600 cases of dengue fever and 1,400 of malaria.
Who is involved ?
President Evo Morales is involved for he is the one who blames the floods on some certain developed states that are failing to fight the forces of nature. Meteorologists, because they are the ones that believed that El Nino, which is a form of weird unpredicting weather is what caused all this catastrophe, and Health officials for they the ones that help the poor hearts that are in need of a rescue.
Who is Affected and How?
The very civilians of Bolivia are affected because they are the very ones that may have lost maybe loved ones or their very lives and their homes and shelter. We all know that losing a loved one can really haunt our lives forever and that is why it is important to care for each other and work independently and collaborativley.
What would you do if you directly involved ?
If I was directly involved in this situation of the flood in Bolivia, I of course would find a cure for all the diseases that effected the very lives of the civilians and try to have accurate predictions on weather so that I am able to evacuate the people of the certain area or country that is going to be effected by the forces of nature.
