What have I learned about geography so far?

I have learned that geography is about the study of the earth’s surface, its physical and cultural features, and of the locations of these features on earth. I have learned that geography has two main branches, they are physical geography, and human geography. I have learned that physical geography is mainly about the earth’s surface such as: landformations, soil, etc……even the planets of our solar system, including the moon, and the sun. I have also learned that human geography contains of a number of fields, such as:political geography, military geography, economic geography, and social geography. I have also learned that human geography is about the study of humans’ lives, how they live, how they progress through years etc……geography is a great subject to learn about and I hope I will learn more fascination in the future!

What is the issue?

The issue is that war might be carrying on in Afghanistan for 10 more years.

Who is involved?

NATO, the terrorists of Afghanistan, and Australian Defense Force cheif Angus Houston.

Who is affected and how?

The civilians of Afghanistan are affected by being in danger of the terrorists and that they might get killed or injured by them, so their lives are at stake.

What would you do if you were directly involved?

What I would do if I was directly involved is I would send my troops from country to reinforce the other troops and to defend the civilians, though we might not stop the terrorists from creating danger and putting lives at stake, yet we at least defend and give protection to the civililans, we might even fight if we have to save poor lives.

Homework for Block E and Block H (Friday 8 September)

We had lots of fun during the holidays, yet we did not do much, we just stayed in our Farm in Morocco. Yet I did have a lot of fun in our farm with my family and of course the farm animals, many outrageous things happened in our farm this Summer. One is that their were these strange theifs that roamed the skies on our farm, they were eagles!
They used to roam across the skies looking for young lamb that they would usely feast on! Two is that a huge heat wave came across our farm that made many animals sick, the heat attracted snakes to our home!
I had lots of fun riding my horse during that Summer for it felt very great to just ride my horse, other than that our family traveled to some parts of Morocco and visited families friends, I had a great Summer yet it was a very tiring vacation.

What is the Issue?

The issue is that the Israeli troops might pullout because the Lebanon peace force is growing.

Who is in involved?

The Israeli troops, the Lebanon peace force.

Who is affected and How?

The civilians of Lebanon and Israel are affected, and even the troops of both the countries for their lives are at stake and even the ones who might still survive the war their homes might be clashed and maybe a family member had been killed. For the troopers they might not ever see their families again.

What would I do if I was directly involved?

What I would do is that I would be a soldier and fight for my country and die for my country, for that is a soldier’s job to do, to fight for his country.

What did you find interesting about this topic?

What I found interesting about this topic is that war is a stupid thing that man has been doing for many centuries, and I thought why fight with people rather than have a nice peaceful life. I also thought, why should we kill innocent people for they have done no harm to you. War is a stupid thing to be doing and it should stop so that we could all have a wonderful life, after all it is best to socialize rather than get killed.

What I liked about the initial posting:

I liked the map for it shows you the location of the event that took place, I also loved how some words show their meanings in links, because without them being linked off to their definitions we would understand their meanings. I mainly liked how they put answers to the question in an orderly fashion.
